Luster-On 401 is a no-etch cleaner for aluminum and a general purpose cleaner for brass and steel. It removes processing oils, shop dirt, marking inks, etc., while retaining the original luster. Luster-On 401 is recommended as an aluminum cleaner prior to anodizing, chromating, polishing or etching operations. It is used to clean zinc or copper alloys prior to chemical polishing, chromating or electroplating.
