The Duall Particulate Scrubber is a wet venturi type scrubber that also has a packed tower.
The wet venturi removes the particulates and the packed tower removes residual water and vapors prior to the discharge of the cleaned air to the atmosphere. Air is drawn into the scrubber by a fan that is located on the exit side of the scrubber.
Water is discharged from a nozzle located in the venturi section of the scrubber. This water makes contact with the air and particulates going through the scrubber. The water is broken into small droplets which impinge on the particles. The water and the particles are then dragged into the separation/recirculation tank.
After the particles are captured the air stream is directed through the packed tower. The tower removes residual water and vapors.
The scrubber is capable of removing particulates from an air stream of approximately 13,000 ACFM.
